For the Price family, that moment came late last year when they received the heartbreaking news that their beautiful daughter, Brooklyn, had been diagnosed with inoperable Ewing’s sarcoma—a rare and aggressive cancer. Their world turned upside down, and their focus became clear: giving Brooklyn the best chance at beating this disease.

To receive the most effective treatment, Brooklyn must travel to the U.S. for specialised proton therapy and chemotherapy. The Australian government has funded the trip for Brooklyn and her mum, Lauren, but her dad, Jessie, and little sister, Elliana, were left out.
